Executive Chef Mike Trudnak brings 18 years of hotel experience to The Celeste Hotel, Orlando, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. He was born in Northeast Pennsylvania where he was lured into the culinary world at an early age. Chef Trudnak went on to study at the Prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York where he built upon his skills. He continued his career gaining experience in exclusive restaurants and hotels such as Apawamis Country Club, Disney’s Yachtsman Steakhouse, The Ritz Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes, Trout Lake, Cove Haven Resorts, and the Marriott Lake Mary.
Chef Mike imparts a sense of creativity, originality, and sincerity in his approach to food. He continues his quest for inspiration with new challenges that will add a creative touch to his dishes but stays true to what he knows matters most, creating memorable culinary experiences. A meal by Chef Mike is not one to be easily forgotten as his dishes are created with a passion for food and a love for his industry. He currently resides in Casselberry, Florida with his wife and three children where he can usually be found doing remodeling projects in his free time.
